Our Trainings

Relay Pumping is a four hour classroom course with the goal of gaining a full knowledge of building a pipeline from the source engine to the final discharge point. Students that attend this training course will leave with an understanding “cascading”, how to retain a maximum water supply from both pressurized and static water sources, apparatus pump design, and understanding basic friction loss. The course instructor will cover pressure governors and relief valves, hazmat valves, and four way hydrant assist valves to give attendees an in depth understanding. Following the classroom instruction, students will engage in a four, hour hands on, practical exercise.
